It is our pleasure to serve you…

North Weld County Water District (NWCWD) has been serving its customers in northern Weld and eastern Larimer counties since 1962. It was in this year that a group of far sighted farmers knew that they needed a better source of domestic water, not only for their homes, but also for their livestock operations. From their numerous meetings, the idea emerged that would eventually be the beginning of NWCWD.

From a small beginning of 670 water taps and a usage of 130 million gallons of water per year, NWCWD has expanded to encompass 325 square miles, 5,200 water taps and over 1.75 billion gallons of water usage per year. All started by a small group of people who had a need, and were willing to dream and work hard to fulfill that dream.
